oh yeah
Okie, I get the gist on this.. I made this video for someone and it had a lot of promise. It was kind of funny the first time, but there is just something so wrong with it. (The person I made it for still thinks it's hilarious-- what an odd person). I personally need mental floss after watching it and am embarrassed that I made it.

ya I hate that tool. I think the worst was the dbz brolly movie. Just unedited clips. The clips were so long that I coudnt even enjoy the movie cuz I saw the stuff allready. My favourite is kryptine (damm my spelling) my supa vegitto. I am new to this site however and I still cant dl for another 2 weeks but from what I have seen on the net thats my fav. There needs to be more rap ones. I mean rap is just as hard and as good for this is rock.

I have two very big skeletons in my closet.madbunny wrote: No one is going to rip on newbies that tried hard... probably. Feel free to tear apart your own first videos though.. I know everyone has one somewhere in a dark corner. Some fansubbed skeleton in the closet full of promise but only delivering agony.
My first video was combination of part of the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack (Lux Aeterna, i think it's called) and Princess Mononoke. I used downloaded footage, edited it with DivX 4 for previews, recompressed it, and recompressed it a couple more times (for some reason that escapes me now). Still, I did use the music before it became the LotR soundtrack and everybody started using it.
Second skeleton might well be the worst conceptual mistake made in the history of music videos. I made a 6 minte MV (to dance macabre, by saint saens), which is generally a bad idea, but it can turn out ok if your source has enough usable parts, ie isn't too boring visually. Of course, I decided to use 2001: A Space Oddysey, probably the most unsuitable movie for a music video. Thankfully I've now gotten a chance to delete it.
(I did actually get a positive message over kazaa about the 2001 video, imagine the odds on about 5 uploads a month)

Just TERRIBLE! There's an ad for this guy's site IN THE MIDDLE of the vid, he couldn't be bothered to complete the song, and the use of effects is just plain tacky.
