My brother (obviously) is into anime and so are our cousins. My dad thinks it's okay, but my mom thinks it's "racy". *shrug* :?

My brother, though he isn't as much of a fanatic as I am ^^;; likes anime. He centres more on anime movies like Ninja Scroll, Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell etc. My parents indulge my buying of it, yet they have yet to actually consider it as a form of entertainment for them. Though I know from their personal tastes that they'd like some movies I have, they won't watch them since it's animated or just from knowing that's it's "sailor moony" as my mother puts it. (Sailor Moon is synonymous with the word anime to her, I've been trying to break her of this habit but it hasn't worked yet >.<....and yes I know that Sailor Moon is anime, but she refers to anything anime as Sailor Moon, if that makes sense).
