First off aobut your comment on how it sounds then it should be spelled Arkard thats how they pronounce during the japanese series.By the way you don't tha they intended it to spell Dracula backwards for all you know they got orignal and didn't use a castlevania rip off.For all you know they gus tintended for when he took on a new nae that he gust picked one.You don't know what they intended so the fact stands the name given to him is Arucard Not Alucard.( this is basically the same thing between Gatts and Guts)

what makes you think we can take your word that alucard is actualy arucard, are you japanese? do you live in japan? do you know japanese? i'm just currious why you are so sure this is how it is.
