After Effects masking...

Post by rpgfan2 » Sun Jan 11, 2004 1:48 am

Is there a way to use an image as a mask. Lets say i had an image with just black and white on it. Is it posible to use that image a mask where all the black or white is hidden? I thought it was possible but i can find out how to do it.

yeah in photoshop just erase the part you want to use as a mask and when you save it the transparrent parts will be an alpha channel which work as a window to the layer before
