Okay, now it's getting rediculous. She did it again, this time using one of my newer vids as well as the first one. And two of her other recent vids also used the first one. They're all on local, so that should be as easy to fix as someone breaking the 'no excessive violence' rule.

As fast as she's copy and pasting (my footage to her songs), I really doubt she's going to stop any time soon.

And I'm 95% sure her other recent vid is another rip off - I'm downloading it now.

At the rate she's putting them up, she'll have all of my vids duplicated in a matter of days. Maybe there isn't anything you can do about people using 'questionable sources' but there is a strict rule about reproducing vids - the mods tend to delete those without question when they're on the local server.

I'm seriously thinking of creating a thread in the 'Site Suggestions' about making an eforceable rule against explicite plaigerism - at least when it's on the local server. I'm donating so she can put my vids to her songs, and she doesn't even get a slap on the wrist? How is that acceptable?

Have you emailed her?

I do think what she is doing is out of order and that this is an issue which should be addressed in some way... it's just hard to know where to draw the line.

I emailed her, but I can't tell if she's gotten it yet or not - it was before her last vid came out so I'm hoping she hasn't read it yet.

I can see where you can't ban or take down vids in this case, but a warning or *something* so she doesn't keep doing it would be very appreciated. Especially now that she's moved onto my better amvs. I can only imagine which one she's going to snag next.

Assuming she hasn't already used Sufferance (she has a Hiei/Yukina vid that I'm downloading now - I'm pretty sure that's the one she took the footage from, I can only hope I'm wrong).

Update - I finished downloading another vid, it's not mine. It's Xenia's 'Cry Little Sister' vid. I figured it was that one since it's the only real vid on the org for that story.

I'll try emailing her, but she stopped editing a long time ago so it probably won't do any good.

I think I know who she got her Sesshoumaru/Rin vid from, along with one of her Fruits Basket vids - another person I had listed in my Favorite Vids list - I'll give the links after I download if it's what I think it is...

Actually, I haven't watched any CCS vids for the Sakura/Li pairing, so I don't know what to compare those to. I'm just noting a very prominent pattern and expect they come from somewhere on the org.
