Cool Ideas for AMV's?

Anything can be original if you put the right twist on it. One thing dbz vids lack is sexual fanservice...there are none on the org. And just think, there are thousands of dbz vids on the org - yet there are none that have a sexual mood aimed at fanservice, let alone any using dj scans to enforce that fanservice angle. The song won't make a bit of difference in the 'originality' if the parody is done right.

And making a 'new' vid for an overused anime/song is more original than doing it for something that's rarely used - because it's harder.

hymm i agree with you for the most part , but saying its more original is something im not sure of maybe if it has a completely different veiw of the song/anime then all the others then mabe a bit more . but using overused song is what i would say half original and half daring or something like that lol

Heh, no, but any LP song would do - any of the ones angsting about broken relationships. You could use the djs (the sex) as flashbacks and a reason why the guys are so angry (growling, howling, acting like very frustrated guys who aren't getting any). I don't really know the specifics - almost anything would do if you have good dj scans to use.

But it's just an idea - I doubt anyone would use it. ^_^ I only threw it out because *I* won't be using it. I have no djs for the dbz girls (I don't even know if they're pretty in the djs...).

Yea, I'd Say thats true too. Everythings gotta be completely different, new song, new views on the characters, something that no one would ever expect. I think thats where ull get most of your good points.

I think the creator should stay clear of Linkin Park and Korn, when u were saying parody i was thinking along the lines of wierd Al or something like that. even if its a good vid to a linkin park song, ppl are gonna be like .. "Another one" and disregard it like the rest until word of mouth got around about the vid and how good it was to the song despite who sang it.

I've personally seen only one complete episode of Dragon Ball. I'm not sure how you'd work the video to it since i have no idea about whats in the Series. As for the song, a funny song something that you can listen to over and over again with out getting tired of. Don't get me wrong, i like Linkin park, i got their new CD in my truck right now, but As for another DBZ AMV, I think the creator should steer clear of that route.

Well, songchoice would be up to the creator. I say LP *because* it's stereotyped. To make a good and highly original video using the most 'unoriginal' anime/song combination would be a feat. That would make the video great as much as the funny (unusual) content would - and that's where the challenge comes from.

But again, it's just an idea.
