Half of ever genre sucks. But the converse of that is also true. Every genre has some music owrth listening to, and that is how I base my musical taste.
8 bits. Anything else is overkill.

geh.. my music style changes with my mood.. when I'm feeling laid back.. I listen to rave/trance/techno and stuff... when I feel happy or hyper I listen to Ayumi Hamasaki or crazy japanese stuff or Eurobeat. When I am feeling mellow, calm, or depressed, I listen to acoustic versions of Ayu's songs, Akino Arai, Mozart, other random things... and when I'm angry, or just...feeling along the lines of that, I listen to linkin park, system of a down, marilyn manson, and some of ayumi as well (shes going into rockish stuff?) I dont even know why I bother post this. XD

I used to listen to more dance and pop. I even went through the NSYNC stage *cringes* but now my tastes lean more to rock. Artists like Evanescence, Creed, and Linkin Park are usually in my cd player.

My taste on music changes everyday. Depending on how I feel and stuff at the time. So I go from stuff like CoF and As I Lay Dieing to stuff like Pink Floyd. Then to stuff like KMFDM, Swichblade Symphony, and Orgy. Then to just normal rock that you can hear on the radio.

Musical Taste

Post by HeavyMetal » Mon Jan 26, 2004 12:43 am

A person's musical tastes only change if they change mostly, which is mostly due uncertainty about self-identity.

As child I never really liked music as I only heard my mothers pop music and my grandparents country.

One fateful day a friend of mine put Metallica's album Load into his stereo. Something in me came alive that day. My hunger for heavy metal has never faltered. I will listen to a variety of music if it is exceptional in its genre, but Metal is it. My taste for grows with each new band I hear, Metallica, Nirvana, Guns & Roses, AC/DC, Drowning Pool, Godsmack, and the list goes on.

edit: I would however, be happy to make recomendations of metal you may like based on your tastes, if you are so inclined.
