Live Action Eva Concept Art

I can already tell that this movie aint gonna go well with the Eva fans because they changed soo much. The characters from the anime series are vital parts to the series and movie. They will get some negative feedbacks for doing that...

Generally speaking, the special effects team isn't allowed to change character names. That came from the people who are making bigger decisions. This is most likely permanent.

Noooo ... i want the old characters back, they are wat ran the series from start to finish. They should be the ones to start this live action thing and then finish it. Thats just how things should be done. I hope that the anime fans out there wont throw a riot because of the serious changes they made ..

Ugly? Their only concept designs, they don't have actors to play the characters yet so the artists improvised....but indeed they could of improvised a bit better....

I think "Kate Rose" doesn't look too bad, except that she looks Japanese and has an English name...

I dunno if anyone noticed this or not, but REI HAS BLACK HAIR AND NOT-RED EYES!!! Me and a friend spent around 30 minutes complaing about how she doesn't have BLUE hair and RED eyes. That is the main thing that pissed us both off, and there was the damn character name changes. Sorry, but we don't need Rei to have the masculine spelling and Asuka and Misato be called something else... However, both of us were very happy at the concept drawings on the plug suits, Evas and Eva hanger bays, and most of all, NERV Command Center. AT least they can give the actress who plays Rei a dye job and some red contacts and make Asuka keep her name and get an actress that's like her...

There's my 2 cents and I'd keep going, but I'd prolly just go into a rampage and post a bunch of senseless jargon...
