Anime Episode Discussion section
There has been a new section added called "Anime Episode Discussion". Its purpose is for the discussion of specific anime episodes where people can talk about and speculate on the events in certain episodes and how they may affect future episodes or how they fit into the grand scheme of things so far, etc.
We've had posts like this in the past in General Anime and I don't think I'm alone in saying that I would like to see more like them. I've posted rules which are specific to that forum and may not necessarily apply to the other forums here. These rules are subject to change as needed, but I think they're fairly straightforward and simple.
Have fun!

this is just my opinion here, but.....really now......is this needed....i mean...at all?
i dont go to the general anime section to much, but with something like a "general" anime section.......why do we need to make another place for.....general anime topics?
this is why i think that the org forum should really be more like the cgtalk forums, if nothing else, a forum within a forum section could be added, so that when you click on general anime, it takes you to a list of forums under the general anime tag. even so, this forum as a whole shouldent be so much off topic in every forum. general AMV and general Anime are just that, "General" discution forums. if so many people are have so much trouble desiding where a topic should go, maybe a revision of the forums discriptions is whats really needed.

The good thing about about having a forum where you talk about episodes is that it will contains only topics about the actual anime itself and not topics that are generally relatated to the big bad world of anime.
So if I wanted to start a discussion on ROD TV I might say
subject: ROD TV episode 3
post: I started ROD TV and I must admit I really liked episode 1... but what the hell is up with episodes 2 and 3? The characters are mostly annoying rather than amusing and nothing is really happening. I hope the show picks up later one as it would be a shame to have a mediocre series after such a cool setup with the way the OVA was handled.
...and that would lead on to discussion of how ROD TV gets better later and that I should perservere (plus as people know what ep I've seen up to they wont post too many spoilers)
I like the new forum because it means I can go in there and know that each post is going to be talking about actual shows and things happening in these shows, which is a nice change from "This show rocks/ Yes it does/ No it doesnt" threads.
My 2p.
