The art is alright. I like the conceptual drawings for the evangelions. Very cool. But they really screwed up Asuka, Misato and Rei. :/

Ok...we've established that the concept character designs are nightmarish, and most likely won't last till the finished product...let's move on.

Yeah but the names are probably here to stay. WETA got those names from their higher-ups who are writing the script.
