Last Thread...save me. Final Fantasy X FMV Ripping

Post by TKDarkhaven » Wed Jan 21, 2004 3:57 pm

I've had everyone point me to different locations (dokidoki, Castor, etc) but no one themselves knows how to do it. I just need to rip this ONE game's footage. If anyone has successfully done it please tell me how. Thank you in advance.

I know you didn't want a thread, but try this post. People seemed to think it worked - and for pretty much anything.

Thats the method I TRIED. I got to the part where the extractor searches the ISO for MPG and thats where I failed. It didn't find a single thing. :(

Search through the older threads... Someone posted a link to a FFX video extractor. I cant remeber where though. It did wrok, I know that cuz I tried it.

And that other method, did you just extract the image file on there? Cuz you have to extrack the entire dvd-rom. Track 1 is what it sould be called, and it should be several GB large....

I had the same problem last night. I kept on re-ripping and chopping up and searching, but never found one mpg file. It took me hours until I gave up. I had almost given up trying to find the extractor as well, since all the links were dead. During a last-ditch effort I found it though, and I forgot where I found it so I'll just upload it.

Extract it into a folder, pop your FFX DVD in and it'll extract the .m2v and .wav files into whatever folder the program is in (I didn't see an option to change the output). It's bare-bones but it got the job done for me.

Hope that helped!
