Anyway, did you watch the dubbed, or the Japanese, I assume you watched the Japanese, but just in case, if you watched the dub then there's no way you'd ever get to 291, since they're missing a lot of episodes. (Just wanted to inform you, I don't know if you know or not)

I haven't seen *all* of the 291 episodes, but damn near close. I think I missed a total of 3 or 4 episodes where there where lose ends and I couldn't get that particular episode. I've seen definetly no less than 287.

as much as i dont like DBZ anymore...still one of my favorite anime episodes of all time is where Goku and Piccolo go learn to drive....i still laugh when i watch it

i can vouch (sp?) i watched dbz there in spanish (somehow it's better than the rest... it will take a miracle for me to ever trust spanish dubs... but they did better on dbz that US did)

i've watched almost all the episodes, i've seen all of them except the ones where piccolo trains gohan as a kid to prepare for the saiyan attack, not that i don't already know what happens (gohan finally grows a pair and piccolo becomes the butt of a lot of pediphile (sp?) jokes)

i watched it all dub too, but i didn't watch on Cartoon Network, my cousin had bought around 65% of dbz when i started watching it so i didn't have to wait a long time to watch episodes, i just watched his tapes and by the time i'd come to him that i finished watching his tapes, he'd have the new ones ready to go!

but since he has the series, i buy the movies, and i found out (like everyone else already knows) the following:
english dbz is to japanese dbz-like-Hercule Satan is to Super Saiyan 20 Goku
i think i make my point

i seen about 50 japanese episodes

so i think i seen all of them
