Anime DVD's

Post by AnouilhSith » Fri Jan 23, 2004 10:24 am

Hey everyone, I just wanted to ask if you think spending £500 on Anime DVD's is either a waste of money or is it worth the money?

Thanks,

I think it depends on what you're buying. If you're buying stuff like dubbed and edited DVDs then I don't think it's worth it. But if you're buying stuff that have some good reputations then go for it. You can see how some people liked the anime at animeondvd.com. Have fun shopping ^_^

I do have a list of what I am collecting at the moment and a list which shows the fully completed collections that I have as well.

I only buy R1 DVD's as they are both unedited and can be subbed.

I'm not sure what that amounts to in Canadian, but quite frankly if you're getting something you enjoy and you have the money to do it, (ie you're not starving yourself or something)...what's the problem?

Though this is coming from the person who just spent $350 canadian on anime....but meh,....I'm quite satisfied :D

I'm satisfied too, buying 25 DVD's in one go helped fill some holes in my already growing collection. :)

My point exactly, though at the moment I'm running out of dvd storage space -_-.....25 in one shot eh? Sounds like fun. What did you buy?

I dont kno how much that is but like the other people said ... just as long as ur not starving o anything that is causing ur body harm, then go spend that amount, watever it is on anime. But make sure u get something that u will enjoy and not think that it was a waste of money... Have fun ... ;)
