Just because we need some more AC/DC on the books...

Post by Kaji01 » Fri Jan 23, 2004 7:14 pm

This is an idea I've had for a while, but I'm unable to get any source footage to do it because I don't have money for the DVDs, nor does anyone I know have them, so I decided I'd throw it out and see what became of it, as I really want to see it done.

Either way though, the idea is taking AC/DC's "Who Made Who" and making a .hack//SIGN video from it. Whoever else likes this idea feel free to take it and run, just post to let me know you're doing it so that I can keep an eye out for it once it's finished![/url]

Wow, aren't we opinionated...
I agree that your favorite music will eventually join that pile, but I know what you mean about good shows and bad songs *glares over at the ba- guy who did ShinneNeko*
What type of music is AC/DC? I forget.

AC/DC suck?! What's wrong with you?? AC/DC is a quite simply, a great musical group. As for ancient, well, they are "classic rock", but overall they're quite better than the majority of new bands today. Most bands today no one will remember in 10 years. As for .Hack, well, I've never seen the show, and I've heard almost no feedback on it, besides from one individual who thinks that it's incredibly boring.

It has potential for 4 to 5 minute music videos but the series could have been shortened to six or eight episodes and you wouldn't have missed anything.

Ever heard of moderation, man? FLCL was an amazing six episodes, but it would have lost much of it's magic if Gainax had tried to continue the story past there...

Very true. There are many series that simply don't need that many episodes. And some series seem to go on forever . . . like look what happened to Ranma 1/2. so anyways, what everyone is saying (except aura20) seems to support my friend's opinion that .hack is boring, simply because it's way to drawn out. So, I'll probably never go out of my way to watch it.

I agree. Most of the long series (ie, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, .hack, etc) got boring after a while. But most of the short stories are pretty cool and consistant, a good thing. Besides, long series = long reciept, another downside. Buying the whole series will take time and money, which one could be using on an editing tool.
