Rei also is rei because rei means one. I think.

Changing the name's in a remake is like taking the script and saying

"Hey Anno, this is a fine script 'n all, but I think it sucks. We need more explosions, naked chicks 'n stuff aight? And Asuka Lanngee... the fuck? People can't pronounce that. We'll make it Kate Rose instead kay? Remember Anno, we're ADV, we know what the fans want."

I'm pretty good at telling the blue wigs apart from real hair that's been dyed blue. By "all those wigs" I meant all the blue wigs.

You know what? I've come to a startling conclusion. There is NO damage that this movie can do to the franchise that episodes 8-10 and 25-26 haven't already done.

Care to go more in-depth with that statement? How did any of those episodes do any damage at all? Do you think Evangelion would be as popular without those episodes?

It would certainly be shorter without those episodes. Plus people would start thinking that you're superstitious about the number 10.

Nothing good ever comes from 10. I'll stick with 9.

Still after all this complete irrelevance I'm still wondering how the movie could fail to damage EVA as much as those episodes did.
