Actually it had something to do with name rights and Sony. I forget the details, but it wasn't really "Americanized" by some jackass like what has been done in the past to other anime titles. You'd have to do some research ot find the real story. Maybe that guy that answers questions over at AnimeNation might have answered it in the past.

Well, I half agree with you on that one

Those ones after the Kyoto Arc are rather pointless, except the episodes of SWano's Treasure Hunting Dog and Kenshin's fake proposal.

After the roaring achievement of DBZ, Cartoon Network was all set to continue the the torture with Dragon Ball GT. Uppon watching the series though they found that all the male characters looked like Men, there was more fighting then talk, and it had a bareley decent storyline.

"We just couldnt touch this one, tried killing Krillan every 5 minutes and even that didnt work!"

"Switching out all the male characters with with female voices didnt seem to faze it one bit. Can nothing be done to stop it!!!"

On a related note the new series Dragon Ball Y (Pronounced...WHY!!!...as in OHGODWHY!) is set to hit TVs everywhere soon.

Ever watch DBZ on the spanish channels...they cut out all the talk so you have about 5 epps of fighting and no back story.
