Importing AVI into Premiere Problem

I've ripped and converted to huffyuv however when i go to import to premiere i get a "unsupported format" error that's never come up before.

Can anyone help?

Also, anything i put into the timeline premiere will not play, be it images, video or audio.

Any help?

I must say i have never heard of this at all so i'm just going to state the obvious.Have you tried uninstalling premiere and then reinstalling it?or reinstalling Huffyuv or a different version of it for that matter?are you using AVS scripts or are they just Huffyuv avi's?I am really at a loss as to why this would happen but any of these things may help.

I had a similar problem when doing my amv. I just got pissed off and took everything off my comp (avisynth, premiere, the rips, everything) then went back through and put it all back on. Then it magically worked. Other than that I have no solution for you. sorry.

ok "unsuported format" just means you aint got the right codec. just go here http://www.doom9.org and download the codec pack if your not sure what codec it uses

What order did you install the programs. I recommend that premiere be the first thing out of all your editing tools to hit your harddrive.
