Actually I tend to only watch Stever Urwin and Jeff Crowin but thats rarely if Im bored.

Anyways, Id din't bother reading the entire thing. I knew it was just going to be a dumb rant on how he doesn't like anime and why should I care cause he can't change a freakin thing and plus I'm a anime fan (otaku...whatever) so I know where I stand so why should i put up with his whinny rants ???

Wow ... this thread has become larger from the last time i was here. Well its the guys opinion and we cant really beat him over the head with a bat until he likes anime, so we will just have to deal with it and ignore the fact that he doesnt like anime.

a bit harder to do this now that there are animes that cross several genres at once. Id like to see this guy criticize cowboy bebop, Haibane Renmei, or perhaps Last Exile with this obviously ignorant belief of his. such animes defy a single genre and offer a lot to many interests. that is why they are so good. Of course, this is like telling a politician something that doesnt meet his agenda. In other words its next to impossible to change his mind. thats alright though, because for every anime-hater, there are many more who will defend it. My mother even got into a few animes, like Spirited away, Millenium actress, and Princess Mononoke. They actually changed herm ind about what anime can be, and its really up to this guy whether he will ever come to his senses about anime or not. but dont sweat him seriously.

Well, he did make some points about anime that were true (e.g. hentai... )... I guess he was just sick and tired of everyone gushing about anime so he decided to type up all his feelings on the subject to piss someone off.
To make a brief summary of his rant would be him making fun of anime or in other words, making stereotypical "witty" comments about anime. He's obviously not seen many good animes or else he would not have made such a blunt statement about it. Maybe after he's seen most animes should he make up his mind about it then.
Anyways, this is just giving me a headache. I've already argued with a guy in my class who has a locker underneath mine. He was pasting pictures of scantily clad women and cars (typical) onto his locker. I made a comment about the women thing and he said that I should be the one to talk when I watched anime that had scantily clad women in it too. Like hentai. I pointed out that he had not seen any animes at all and that he was merely basing his judgement on things he had heard and not seen. Well, we went on awhile there. I found out that the only animes he's seen was Dragonball Z...

Right.. so that makes him an expert suddenly?
