.hack... is the best... you should watch it... then you can love it too... hehe... well... it is a suggestion... but i think that you should watch .hacl//sign... then .hack//dusk... and then play the game... so you would understand... sorry if i'm kinda bossy...

Yes, but in one of the "false memories" you also see a bra in Tsukasa's room. Besides, I don't really see the point in having her think she's a boy. I think the gender neutral look of Tsukasa in the memories is simply to play with the audience's mind. Heck, even the name Tsukasa is gender neutral.

BTW, after the end of the show, An(n) is adopted by Bear and goes to college.

really... well i knew bear was going to adopt tsukasa... but... did tsukasa really go to college... though every one goes to college... but i don't know if bear did adopt her... did he really know who tsukasa was in real life?... if he did... maybe he could adopt her... but then what would happen to bears "real" son?... i mean... that kid was a spoiled brat... but i think that tsukasa needs a real dad... because i think tsukasa's mom died and tsukasa's father is really mean... but i don't really know anything... so i could be wrong...

Well, if you watch episode 28 of .hack//SIGN, Tsukasa arrives late because she has to log in after school. Someone (I think Mimiru) says that Tsukasa will be logging in from her dorm.

well maybe she came out of a dorm... or maybe she came out of an apartment... because it looks like she woud live here... in the end when she met up with subaru in real life... she doesn't seem like she is the age of someone in college... though again... i might be wrong...

First of all, keep in mind that people just generally look younger in anime.

Also, that information DID come from episode 28, which happens AFTER the games. IIRC, the games occur over a couple year period that starts about 6 months from the end of SIGN. In others words, she's in college 2.5 years after SIGN. Possible in a US school system if she was 17-18 (but she's close to the age of the 16 year old Mimiru (IIRC). Unfortunately, I don't know much about the Japanese high school system, except that you can become a student teacher in your 20's.
