Pokemon... is still a little alive.... or no?

This is just out of curiosity.

Anyone know if Pokemon is still running in Japan? Cause I'm still seeing movies and episodes every so often.

I stopped watching sometime after the Johto League saga. Now I'm seeing Satoshi (or Ash.... damn WB marketing...) sporting a new look. Then I'm hearing this "Advanced Generation" thing.

Can anyone fill me in? And I doubt that anyone is subbing or anything like that ('cause of course I don't wanna see the wanna-be American versions) but if there are then please tell me that too.

I would like to give you an advice, and that's never, NEVER ask about pokemon here, because the members get pissed off and start trolling and flaming anyone who mentions it.

I'd like to know the answer myself. I grew tired of pokemon, but I got nothing personal 'gainst it.

Actually, I dont' know how behind we are in having things brought over from Japan, but while channel surfing up here at my uncle's...I saw a preview for a new Pokemon game for Nintendo Game Cube which said it was coming out with a whole new movie preview or something. So who knows?

Prolly the new Pokemon Stadium game, which also has a story mode where you play this guy who can steal other trainers poemon with a grab ball (I think that's what it's called). The reeson you steal them is because they've corrupted them, so you need to use them in battle and they'll slowly become good again.

anyways, I doubt the pokemon craze will end anytime soon...maybe in Japan but America and everyone else is a few months behind so when the craze in Japan ends, a few months later so will the craze in the world will end.

Unless they make a pokemon island......::shudders at tthe thought::

But I'd like to think that a guy with a DBZ avatar and has only been here 2 months doesn't have a valid opinion that I care about. And yeah, I'm noticing that all the guys that wanna kill the thread have all joined in the latter parts of last year, so...

Pokemon was one of those that got me hooked into the whole anime world. 'Course I was just a pre-teen misfit back then but I find it fun to just be a 'lil kid again... (eh, too bad some people take it too far. A 30 year-old-plus man should never try to cosplay a character half his age.... it's just.... scary.)
