Anime Guilds Second Online Contest

gather round gather round

AG is bringing it back to ya ;)

last year it started out pretty rough but once i finaly got the judging it was pretty sweet :D so now that im not a NEWB (omfg thats right)

ima do this shit right and with style *cough* u heard me.

here some basic rules just so u can get an idea of wats gona happen:

* there is no time limit on the video (unless u do find a song thats 30 minutes long and actualy finish the vid o_O)

* codecs dont realy matter as long as the judges can see it (and we havnt had a problem with viewing a vid yet)

* the videos u submit must have been created AFTER march 9th, 2003

* violence/nudity not a problem ;)

* last year u were allowed 2 entries i think? ill prolly stick to this rule since i do expect a lot of ppl to enter :)

* dates will be set later on, as this is still a rough copy of the rules but im thinking end of march for video submission and results to be posted a week following

* as far as prizes go you might go hosting (have to talk it over with site admin) but u do get to put a lil tag saying u won a contest and who doesnt like to do that? ;)

* again same as last year there are 2 large catagories. Pro and Newb. most ppl couldnt realy distinguish the fact if they were pro or newb last year so i picked for them. and i will do that this year as well. if you are a realy good editor and made like 9 videos but just looking for an easy win, youll be automatically placed in pro. if you realy are a newb and I think u can do good in the pro catagory i WONT move you but i will suggest it. (an example of something like that is deluge, it was the persons first video but it was BAD ASS)

video submission will be through either PM or e-mail (though im thinking PM cuase my mail gets crowded with a lot of other crap :D) but i will give you submission info later as for now......wat u guys think? change some rules? u like?

and more importantly.....will u be submitting? (quik yes or no will suffice)

and that is all ^_^

Considering my latest vid is too long for any other contest to take, and though I'm quite happy with it, it still doesn't get me out of newb status...

I'm going newb! Fo' shizzle

(Well, I call myself a 'permanent amateur', but 'newb' will do for the purpose  )
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Eh, why not, I won't have to pay postage for it.

Don't know about division status.

Hopefully I'll have something new done by the deadline.
