What he said. Also, iMovie is generally a much better program to use overall than Windows Move Maker (though I haven't really touched either since I got Final Cut Express).JHU Battousai wrote:There is no version for the Mac. You can find iMovie here.

Anyway, I do have iMovie and it's a very good program, but for some reason it won't let me import full episodes into it.

iMovie has a 1.9 GB size limit for imported files which ends up being a little over 9 minutes of footage.Yukina_Raven wrote: I do have iMovie and it's a very good program, but for some reason it won't let me import full episodes into it.
DVD's use MPEG-2 video in a ".vob" container and iMovie can only import ".dv" or ".mov" (with a DV codec). In order to get the footage from the DVD into iMovie you will need a DVD Ripper the two most prominent for Mac OS X are "DVDBackup" and "0SEx". Once you have used one of those to decrypt and copy the ".vob" files to your Hard Disk you will need to re-encode them to ".dv" or ".mov" (with DV codec) using "MacMPEG2Decoder" or "DiVA". Now if you are going to import those into iMovie they have to be 1.9 GB or less the easiest way to do this would be with QuickTime Pro (even better would be a good editor like Final Cut). If you don't have QuickTime Pro to cut the files then ugh... um... mmm...Tasuku-Sempai wrote: i cant seem to import my DVDs onto iMovie so i cant make any vids can sum1 help me out?
