I only saw one episode of eva, and I thought the main character's voice was annoying so I didn't even stay for the whole thing...

Well, I was also short on time and alot of other reasons, but I probably would have ended up liking it if I saw it from the beginning. I came in the middle of a movie or something so I'm not sure exactly what was going on, so I was probably just looking for an excuse to not like it and stop watching before the plot was messed up for me...oh well.

It was implicitly conveyed ... she told pen pen that she had to let him go because she could no longer protect him with everything going on ... It didnt actually show her giving him up, it just shows her talking to him ... just thinking about it makes me sad ...

... u should check it out... if u dont like the english dubbed version, there is always the japanese version .... its one of the best anime series, its a must see ...

Eva just sucks but there is my favorite part where shinji is fighting Toji that makes me a little teary eyed especially for the really wackable Hikari.
