How many people follow by scores?
Like, if you see a video that has a score of 9.00 with 3 op's, are you gonna download it over a video that has a score of 6.00 with 8 op's?
The reason I ask is, it seems alot of people download by scores (even I do usually), I usually wouldnt download something thats below a 5.00.
But then like 2 weeks ago I got a really awful op for one of my videos (not like, horrible, oh he had a point... more like horrible, oh he just did it to hurt someone) and it brought to my attention (and I'm not saying my video is great) that even good videos can get horrible scores if enough morons (jerks?) feel an obligation to op it badly enough.
Just curious you know.

If it helps any I don't even notice the op score unless I saw the video in the top 10 lists. From what I can tell the op score is entirely too subjective, even amoung the good reviewers much less the 'you suck' type reviews. I usually download based on song/anime, type of AMV, comments in the forums, or occasionally because I'm feeling helpful at the same time I see a 'this is my first video' post in announcements.

Yeh I know what you mean. Some people have good videos that are deeply criticized with bad scores, which is ok, while some videos that are bad get good scores, but ive seen this video of yours and the scores it was given, if i remember it was like 1's and 2's, and when i oped it i gave it 8's and 9's with a pretty thorough OP. I, like many others thought it was well done, even the person who gave the horrible scores said that it was well done. Obviously this person got some sort of thrill about giving the bad reviews???? Or maybe they were doing it just out of spite? WHO KNOWS? IS THE WORLD COMING TO AN END?!?!?!?

If a video has more than 25 opinions with an average of over 9 on all scores, theres usually something there worth watching. Anything under 25 with uber high scores is crap or just a brand new awesome video.
There are of course notable exceptions on each side of the spectrom but that rule usually rings true.
