Are EVA AMV's DOA?

Yeah, the series doesn't matter as long as you do something interesting with it.

I don't have high expectations about Cowboy Bebop videos, (I mean, how many times can you watch Spike being tossed out a window?) but every so often you come across a real gem.

My policy is that if you have an unoriginal idea (Eva Action), you should make the execution original.

This can also be called the "flare" you add to your video or pizzaz or anything like that.

Eva videos aren't dead. No series will ever die. While, when you get down to the roots, there are a very few amount of truely original concepts (action, drama, action/drama, ect) there are infinite ways to execute ideas. Thats were the creativitey comes from.

scrap that, i restarted work on the amv today. sure its just another shinji character profile, but its my most "profesional" amv yet, plus it has a good action focus to it, without having much action

Personally.

If an eva vid isn't on the top10% then I dont bother downloading it.

I've got 830 amv's written to cd and of them there's about 150 eva videos.

It'd be cool if people stopped using End of NGE and used some of the other footage out of the series as there's alot of potintial.

The "Last fifht of Aska" against the 12 white eva's has been done sooo many times. As has the scene where Rei goes all godlike and blows the world away.

If the videos doesn't have the overused scenes in it I might consider looking at it. But I'm not intended in downloading any more EVA vids unless it's worth it.

(It takes me about 4 hours to download 1 video....)

Forgot to say that of those 150 eva videos there's only 40 good ones...
