Overused Songs

Easy? Easy if you put togheter something random and simple. No one made a good video with "In the end" that is actually fitting with the songs lyrics and theme.

Some people simply don't like to think about songs first.

Of course, then you get into personal interpretation. What may look random outside your head may contain total logic within it.

Not to say that there aren't random vids as well, just that something with personal meaning may translate poorly to the general public.

There is no anime that I have seen that makes sense to be put to In the end by linkin park. The lyrics are too complicated and I dont know any anime that has that plot.

Same here! Good visuals are important but an exelent song can carry a vid even if the editing is lacking. Obviosly the greatest vids are thoose that incorporate and intertwine the two but the audio is the most important part.

That AMV remains one of my all time favorites partially because I like the song so much. The ending is my undisputed favorite of any AMV that I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. You guys should check it out because it's not nearly as popular as it deserves to be.

I feel so old :'( I remember when the overused complaints used to be directed towards Queen and Kenny Loggins videos.
Linkin Park was probably still practicing in garages and clearing out school dances back then

i only recall overused to be Korn back in the late 90's.. korn and "wait and bleed"... but then again, i used to watch a shitload of dbz music vids.. and i have a Princes Of The Universe vid.. but its pretty crappy..

LOL, my god, how many DBZ "Princes of the Universe" videos are there?

That is a very good song, I had no idea it had been used that frequently, most of the vids used for Queen are pretty sub-par and I hav'nt seen any that stand out, most of them are all Final Fantasy Windows Movie Maker drivel...

Care to point me in the direction of a few good Queen Vids?
