For those of you who are into nu-metal and are just kinda looking for something different, I suggest downloading [Link removed] instantly. It's Masterplans Enlighten Me, and it's fucking incredible.

Yes, it's not nu-metal, it's metal, but it's a good idea of what nu-metal bases it's metal roots off of. I'm not trying to knock your choice in music, I'm trying to help you see that GOOD music is out there. It's also a good pick up for metal heads who haven't heard of Masterplan, this entire album is AMAZING.

DUDE! I just picked them up recently> that's why I mentioned Jorn Lande in an earlier post. MASTERPLAN SERIOUSLY RULES!!! It's pretty basic power metal but it's cool, and Jorn has definately found his place with this band.
Not to criticize them, but Enlighten Me is not one of my favorite songs. Actually, Kind Hearted Light is my pick - so much so I've figured a great anime to use for it was s.CRY.ed.

But you're right in that nu-metal steals (or is that borrows/influenced) from real meal bands like MASTERPLAN and HELLOWEEN.

Oh, Jorn is in Masterplan? So that's why it sounded familiar! I picked them up a while ago and couldn't quite place the voice but it sounded way too familiar. Time to give them another listen.

Jorn has a new CD coming out sometime soon. "Out To Every Nation" I believe it is. I've downloaded a promo of it.
Now all I need is a place to download money from.....so many CDs and DVDs to buy.

I'm actually more interested in Timo Kotipelto's new solo album, COLDNESS. I've heard a few songs already and it's really an improvement over his first release. In a word....COOL!
