Meh...

FFX was kind of slipping a little from the usual strong and epic tales that FF games were pretty much expected to have based on previous releases.

I'm not going to say that FFX-2 is a total flop, because it does have its upsides. However, as a FF game i really cant think to much of it :/

Not since Chrono Cross and Xenogears have I seen such a detailed story. I seem to like these storylines where everyone is following a religion that's doing some shady business behind people's backs. I liked FFX more than FF7, and the parts of FFX2 that I've played were fun. I like 'em both.

Everyone is saying that the ending sucks...which confuses me, 'cause I don't think it did.

Now, keep in mind people, there are THREE possible endings you can get.

Normal ending
Good ending (Normal ending + another long CG scene)
Perfect ending (Normal ending + another long CG scene + a short non-CG scene)

If you just got the Normal ending, then yeah, it sucked. But if you got the Good ending or the Perfect ending, then it certainly didn't suck.

Well I finally got around to picking up Final Fantasy X-2 (i'm so poor right now). So far i'm enjoyin' it. But a few things I've wondering about . . .

That's because he sucks. Every character (except yuna, at least in X. In X-2 she's much better, especially since her voice actor improved and doesn't blow anymore.) was better then him.

Yes, the story is both those games rock. It's too bad that the first Xenogears prequil is the most boring rpg that i've ever played. No game needs that many cutscenes. If all the rest of the chapters of that series are as boring as Xenosaga, it's no wonder Square sold the rights to it.

Awww...I like Xeonsaga.

But yes, I agree....the cut scenes are ridculous.

Yeah . . . even though it was soooooo boring, I still liked it, but probably not enough to get the rest of the series when it comes out.
