Well, it hasn't been twenty-four hours yet, but no one's answered the first question yet, so I'm going to post a second one early. A correct answer to either will . . . well, YOU know.

This question comes from the television series The Vision of Escaflowne.

There is the famous scene at the beginning of the series where Hitomi is in the race of her life (or at least her first kiss, which IS considered important!). Hitomi is trying to run the 100-meter dash in thirteen seconds or less. Timing her is the object of her affection, Amano, who is using her pendant (which swings exactly once a second) to count off the seconds of her run.

But mid-way through the run, Hitomi is interrupted (literally and figuratively) by the mysterious arrival of a young swordsman -- Van Fanel.

The question: What was Amano's count when Van started to drop in?

As for the Key the Metal Idol question, Tataki always call Sakura "Chukawa-san" (or Miss Chukawa), at which she politely corrects him.
