More info has been released. The new anime will be animated by the same team which did the Ah my goddess: movie.

Sorry bout the necro post but some new news has popped up about the new anime tv series:

"The new Ah! My Goddess TV series, set to air later this year, will take place after the OVA series and follow the stories laid out in the original manga series. Hiroaki Ghoda has stated in a TV interview that, should the show prove to be popular, he would like to animate the entire manga series."
