Magix Video Deluxe 2.0- HELP!!!

I need some help with this program:

1st of all, how do I save an edited file in another type that the program's weird .MVD-format???

2nd how do I seperate/get rid off the music ?

3rd how do I add an MP3-file as the BGmusic?

1. if you want to save a video to an Avi or an MPG or something like that go to file... Export.. then chooce how you want to save it.. or if your just trying to save your project so that you can open it later just click File Save Movie.. then next time you want that project/video open just click file Load Movie.

2. to seperate or get rid of audio, i dont really know, i would either leave the audio track in and just mute the layer with audio, or i would just take the audio volume down to 0 *will post picture if you need me to*

3. to add an MP3, go to Drives *on the right *will post picture if you need me to* and find the MP3 file, then drag it down into wherever you want, and it should work, if it dosent work it may be because it dosent like the file, in which you will have to somehow reencode the audio, and then import it....

magix is a semi complex program to use, i personally dontlike it, its to rough around the edges and wont let me do exactly what i want... but its GREAT for the price.. the visualizations and effects are very nice! i would reccommend sitting down with it one day.... and just throwing everything you can together, just to learn it... hope you have better luck with it then me...

The bad thing is I lost the mpg's I wanted to use and not even a data recovery programm couldn't bring 'em back. I also cannot recall the site I got them from
need to think of another way to get material...

Cinepak codec by Radius works just fine for me. Most people use HuffyYuv though. whatever works for you.
