I'll be in Philadelphia at a math research program at Temple, but I should be able to go home for the weekend and day-trip to AnimeNEXT (I live in Central Jersey). Should have a video done and ready by the contest deadline as well.

Haven't decided yet whether I'm going to break out the cheap Kaoru Nagisa costume again. If not, I'll probably print out an Org badge and wear it, because I don't know anyone here and I really want to meet people. :cry:

WTF?! How the heck does animenext get all of the people I want to see and not the #1 convention Otakon. 1st the creator of Outlaw Star back in 2002 couldn't make it to Otakon and then shows up at Anime Next and then Lina Inverse voice actress is at Anime Next it is not fair.

You'd better go. O_o Six weeks is a long time...

You're my ticket to the parentals having no problem with me going. :P

If you go as Kaworu...I guess that means I'm going dressed as a Kaworu fangirl....or at least Kaworu's hair consultant. :roll: :P

Unless I do some major shopping in May once school gets out...

I’m defiantly gonna try and get to AnimeNEXT this year especially since I heard that the Big Apple Anime Fest is not going to not hold its convention this year because it overlapped with the Republican National Convention.

I'm not going this year without a buddy.

And also, the stuff that AnimeNext has lined up this year is booooring! Other conventions have Japanese artists performing on stage and stuff like that. Why the hell do I want to see Lisa Ortiz AGAIN?

Come on AnimeNext, get with the program!

There's a 75% probability that I'll be attending. Will probably send in Calling All Alters, but if I catch the editing bug before the deadline I'll whip up something new... perhaps the FLCL idea I had in mind....

There is a 100% chance that I will be attending. And running a music video contest. And running two panels.

o.o;;

Deadline is May 21st. Get those entries in.
