Actually...

...wasn't the old Bucky O'Hare cartoon series something like that? I didn't much like its opening song, but I remember seeing an episode or two of that series once, and I thought the stories were rather good. (Of course, I was just a kid at the time and I haven't seen it since, so I don't know what I'd think of it now.)

If a Japanese studio could get someone good to do a Star Fox series, I think it would be entertaining. They could write completely original stories about the various characters and have all the dialogue distorted into animal noises through a computer program so that it doesn't make sense to anyone, and then run the series with subtitles telling us what the various characters are saying. As an added bonus, they could advertise that the series encourages kids to learn how to read!

I vaguely remember that series. I think. I looked it up once, seems it ran for a few months in late 1992. With a little luck, someone who watched it and remembers it better might chip in here. *hint hint*

Ok maybe not Star Fox... Appearantly everyone is against it. I guess the reason I suggested it was because I just beat Star Fox Adventures.
Let's say we move on to a different subject? :?

If they didn't fuck it up, I think it'd be great.

I think it would depend on who does it and how mature it is. Although taking acount the plot lines and such it would prolly suck ass.

Side Note: I noticed today that in SFA Falco has a broklyn accent.
Yea right. We'd see more shots of Fox in a red trenchcoat jumping to the left, dodging a bullet, shooting in one direction while looking in another, and all that in slow motion, instead of shots of Fox being in an arwing where he should be. I'd rather see the team responsible for Robotech or Macross create Star Fox.

Besides, I've never seen an anime where animals can move like humans. I'll tell you one thing though: the furries would eat that anime up like crack.
