awwwwwww, well many thnx, that's one of the life questions that i would have always harbored within my soul... when i could probably have just used Googlechabols wrote:cartoons was a term used back in the 50's and 60's and it refeared to the old drive-in theaters .. back when they would show things like bugs bunny and other such thing as trailers for the main featcher so that's where the car is from FYI
i think it's okay for people to say japanimation.. so long as they know how to pronounce it, if you pronounce it with complete english pronounciation (which normal people would do) then you'd need to say japan-imation (this has already been pointed out), but if you want to say jap-animation, then you'd have to use a japanese pronouciation for the 'jap-' part, the 'a' is the problem (i'm not a teacher... so i don't wanna go through this again), you have to pronounce it like the first 'A' in ALWAYS or ALL, if you can remember to do that, no japanese person possibly knowing karate will kick your ass... probably would kick your face anyways
you sure?... yeah, you probably are.. damnit... beaten before i started... again... [shakes fist]flint_the_dwarf wrote:I know rite.
well can we call FLCL a cross-breed between anime and cartoon? afterall, it's psychologically deep in terms of character plus it's HQ animation, so it's works for anime (imo) and it's loony, which qualifies it for a cartoon (imo... even though you don't need to drive anywhere to see it.. unless you're driving to the store to buy it... then watch at home, although the driving experience would be over by then [sheds a tear]
FLCL=Anime with Cartoon influence
Teen Titans=Cartoon with Anime influence
Y/N?

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.
