I agree with Nailz on all that stuff he said, except:
-Never heard Evergrey
-dunno what game you're talking about...
-My December is meh...
To lazy to quote everything...

man, i'm surprised no one said
Get Up Kids - Valentine
Course of Nature - Caught in the Sun
12 Stones - The Way I feel
Dave Mathews - Pick one
Jimmy Eat World - My Sundown
Saliva - Rest in Pieces
Unwritten Law - Rest of my Life
I think those are some good ones. I listen to them when I'm down anyway.

That's awesome. I can't believe anyone would actually even mention Celldweller. I love their songs. Klay Scott is a musical genius.Briareos wrote:Celldweller - Celldweller
Nearly the entire album is about a breakup. Broke up with a long-time GF last August and it really fit my mood perfectly then.

That's probably my favorite by them actually. And as for the Cookie, would you prefer blonde, brunette, or redhead ?FoolThemAll wrote:I like "Stay With Me (Unlikely)". Give me a cookie.

Anything by Type O Negative or H.I.M. would do just fine. Don't forget the classic album "Disintegration" by The Cure.Qyot27 wrote:I'm going through a tough time right now, and I wanted to listen to some just really depressing, self-deprecating, romantic breakup-type stuff. Anyone have any suggestions? Preferably something that isn't necessarily the same old recycled mainstream pop and/or rock, since I probably have most of it already . It doesn't matter if you do list it, it may remind me of a good one, but try to get some ones you don't think I've heard of.
If anyone suggests "Cry Me A River" I'm going to shoot them. ;P

I have Type O Negative's cover of "Cinnamon Girl" and it's remix version. I was wondering when someone on here would say The Cure. I love that band, but I have more of their "happier" material (i.e. Why Can't I Be You, Just Like Heaven, etc.). I do have "Burn" and "Fascination Street" though, great songs...Harlock7876 wrote:Anything by Type O Negative or H.I.M. would do just fine.
