The end of Metropolis had alot of fire and melting and stuff

Crap is in the eye of the beholder...frankly, I think the original DB would still have a few shots of legit fire that could work (Frying Pan Mountain)

Also, there's always the flashbacks in Big O...a majority of which consist of megadeuses (megadeii?) reducing earlier Paradigm city to smoldering wreckage (a good deal of the shots being blazing infernoes)
