Mr Oni
If you are calling Kill Bill cheesy, then are you calling anime cheesy? What you saw in Kill Bill is no different than in any other violent anime.
Except the animation is usually much better.

I didn't particularly care for the anime sequence...actually, I didn't like the movie at all. ::shrugs:: I don't know why, I just didnt' care for it.

Hopefully, the second one will be better.

Kill Bill is my favourite movie.

The anime sequence is very good, I like it a lot.

It's a shame that vol.2 is more spaghetti western than eastern but hey, my dad'll like it.

I'm back.

It is? Weird...

I remember hearing that there was a lot more dialogue in this one than the last one.

I heard somewhere that many spaghetti westerns were adapted from eastern films by directors such as Kurosawa...so can it be that big a difference?

It's become martial arts in a western setting. QT himself said that the western influence is stronger in this movie.

I remember reading a magazine (Newtype?) where they were raving about the "unique, deliberately rough stype" used in Kill Bill. It was supposedly done by some big studio too. Can't remember who, though.
