Premiere - the unrenderable frame...

no matter how many times i press render,there's still a dot of RED secction (as in "unrenderd").looking closer,i see that it's just one frame.any idea why this happens?

I'd love to be of help, but I can't say that I've ever had that happen. Maybe it's because a frame got dropped when you converted?

Are you using good quality source, proper encoding, all that stuff?

Don't worry about it. It's only the preview frame which isnt being rendered (for whatever reason) it should be fine on export.

Just put it down to Premiere strangeness and ignore it.

the thing is, it's causing the program to hang for a second when i try to preview (and i have a pretty strong machine)

Then try and move a clip over that section do remove the previews and put the clip back. Then preview that area again and see if it works.

I had a problem like that when I was using divx/xvid clips with bframes in. I couldn't find a way round it.

Well that's what you get for using divx footage as source.
