For those who mocked my amv choice, GET A LIFE! I already knew when I first created my first two amv's that they had been done to death, even newbies know that (hopefully). I did it for two reasons: to prove to myself that I could actaully accomplish what many newbies can't (ie. timing on done to death amv's) and because I have to start somewhere. My choice in anime (eg. dbz) is the best I have seen to date and is probably fueled by the fact that dbgt only just came out in Australia (oh and yes bum, i am from sydney).

Yes, I probably won't post these amv's, but look for me in the future. Once I get some dvd footage you'll hopefully see another dbz amv (hopefully with lyric sync, but not too much) and maybe a zoids amv (most probably set to a rock song and incorporating a lot of action sync).

PS. The grammer has improved, too much MSN chatting does that to you.
PPS. NME, not only is Linkin Park the best band (yes I know this will soon be shotdown) but I bet you, if I had more anime to work with (ie. different shows and more DVD's), you would find a competitor (oh yeah, this will be shotdown in blazing glory...I know)

I can't say offhand if anyone would really notice two more 'overused' combination vids, but if you want to improve your editing, one of the best ways is to share your beginning vids. You can get quite a bit of help/feedback in the 'Opinion Exchange' forum. Or you can do the 'self-taught' method. Just make sure you're watching the 'good' vids so you know where you stand. I know you said you hadn't seen many good ones, so definitely consider looking at those 'top' lists, or asking for recommendations.

But if you really think the vids are good, don't be afraid to post them because of the anime. I've made and announced a number of dbz vids (and LP vids - though not the two combined) and only one was ever flamed outright on the forum. And it deserved the flame since it was pretty lame. Good dbz vids are hard to find, so if you think you have one, go for it.
