Good Program to use for making an AMV

Well i need one cause all i use is Windows Movie Maker and it saves in only WMV format so it comes out pretty BAAAAADDD so pls recomend somthing

If you have Windows XP, I'd suggested Windows Movie Maker 2. It has so many more features then WMM and you have more export options (like an export to AVI.

OR if that does not work, export the wmv under the highest filesize possible. The quality is actually pretty good compared to the default.

Actually, even wmm 1.0 had a perfectly workable ntsc avi format you can export to. The only real problem is the ME version - if you're using that, you're stuck converting wmv.

i have xp and wmm 1.0. how do i get it to avi??? i've been looking for an option like that for a damn while now

When you go to 'save video' click the 'setting' and go to 'other,' and then select 'DV AVI NTSC' - it will give you a large high quality avi file. Then you just do a google search for a quick avi-to-mpg converter and there you go. ^.~

Notepad is pretty awesome, but i prefer mspaint 'cause it has pretty colors.

otherwise, depending on how much you want to invest into this hobby, you can go the expensive route with premeire, or settle into the scheme of Bill Gates by using WMM.

then again, i bet half the questions in the video forums are answered in thier. if i didnt get shouted at every time i dealt justice to a noob then things would be like :

n00b : how do i rip a dvd ?
