Nadesico ep. 3...I think

I think it's the 2nd or third episode, Yurika Walks in on Akito changing, he says, "If you ever do that again, I'll kill you" or something along those lines...Is that meant to be a reference to Heero in Gundam wing, always threatening to kill Relena?

Probably, the whole show has nods towards other series.

Yeah, and then she dreams of herself in his arms as he says "I'll kill you." I'd definetely say so. At least to mock the stupidity of Relena.

I showed fansubbed Nadesico in my high school anime club to take a break from showing Gundam Wing. (This was before either series were released in the US) Whole club screamed "Heero" when that scene happend.

Nadesico is a grest series as a whole. Bought the series after seeing DVD rips eps 1-4. It was well worth it, and I got the movie as soon as it came out, but that just opened a whole nother can of worms.

That sounds like ep 3 though... I need to re-watch the series, again, for the 5th time.

Hmmm have the liscensed version. Only seen the English dub and that is different. Nadesico is an anime parody it makes fun of other anime so it might be refering to Gundam Wing (but then again death threats are common in anime....)

PS the Nadesico movie sucks don't get it unless you can get it for under $5 (this is how trashy the movie is)

evey one i know cheered at that part .... we were soo happy he died ... not realy sure ahy any more but we were.

....Probably because he was one of the most annoying characters in the show. (oh by the way, ADV dubbed his name "Gai," however if you see the model <you know, the one made by the Otaku-Gamer-scientist> of his mech later in the show, his name is written "Gay")
