*blushes* Sorry my bad. I missed the link first time round (the link on google had no description and was to a geocities page - I must have glazed over it). I tried it after you posted and got 20k over 5 minutes, and replied aggressively to try and save face. I completely deserved the servititude. You're not an asshole at all. That would be me.[/quote]

Wow, that was really humble of you. No hard feeling alright? :D

Water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned.

Mirror #2?! Saaaay whaaaaaat?!

http://www.planetbrad.com/videos/Odorikuruu.avi

Someone asked me to send them this a while back so I just uploaded it, and its still up, so, figured, why the hell not.

Besides, it is one of the best AMVs to date :) I have no problem with sharing it.

Thanks to everyone! I'll go download now. I'm happy! I'll be your bestestest friends forever... or something.

Okay, I got Joykiller's version. It crashes explorer when I so much as highlight the file, and when I manage to get DivX Player to fire it up, it crashes DivX Player. I downloaded it twice, both times this happens. Guess it's just my luck. :?

So I got Corran's version. It's low quality, but hey, it's the AMV, and it's a good AMV nonetheless. :o

Thanks to all. Unless someone's got a fix for my problem with Joykiller's file, I'm done here. Tah tah.

Sounds like you might have bad/outdated codec(s). Grab and install Nimo's codec pack, It's got pretty much every codec needed to play any video/audio.

Hope that helps.

Don't do that, Nimo is EVIL(tm). In my opinion the best thing to do is install each and every codec separately. If you insist on using codec packs, at least get the Gordian Knot Codec Pack.

Hi there -- just managed to get my little, greasy hands on the 61.7 MB version of Odorikuruu. Oddly, it is the same resolution (seems to be, anyway) as the 40.2 MB version. D'oh.

Ah well. Not sure; it might be a little better quality. I really hope it isn't the 40.2 MB version that someone re-encoded so that it is larger, or something like that. :?

It's really an excellent AMV (IMHO), so I want to do my part... grab it from the below URL. Try not to be too hard on the server  . I'll keep it up as long as it doesn't start using a ridiculous amount of bandwidth.

http://server.314159265.net/mirror/aoka ... ikuruu.mpg

File details are:
MD5: dcb56c9d98bd6b17756878b3f978dc38
Filename: aokakesu_digital-odorikuruu.mpg
Size: 63,135,748

Incidentally, if someone has a version of it that is a larger resolution/better quality/etc., then if you can get it to me I can put it in the same place for everyone to have. Thanks.

While I'm on the topic of this particular AMV: I don't really have an issue with leaving the file up there. Is there some way that I can get the link inserted into the AMV description itself, so people know where to get it without searching the forums? Any way to do that?

Ack. I forgot to mention -- the above is a mirror of Joykiller's referenced file (page 1 of this thread). It is in North America, and on a good-ish connection. So it should be fast.
