then ull need to go with the ati all in wonder series if u want a tv tuner. i have the regular 9600 and its good heres a link to the aiw 9600 then u could go with one of the aiw 9800 models. thet cost alot more. i think the 9600 should be fine. but heres a link to a lot of the aiw cards. if i were u id go with the aiw 9600 or one of the 9800 if u have the cash for the 9800's. if u want a card w/o a tuner just a video card and svideo out then go for the 9500 if u can find one somewhere if not get the 9600 or 9800. the pro models of those cards just have better core's but not by much.

i dont know much about 3d editing so i couldnt tell u what u need for that. if u gave a price range u could tell u about more cards. but your best bet would be an ati all in wonder card. go to www.newegg.com and search through the ati cards. anything in the all in wonder series has a capture card and im pretty sure they all have dule moniter support. your best bet would be a 9000 or better.

I'd also recommend tom's hardware (tomshardware.com) as a source for honest video card comparison.
System Info: Mac dual 1.25ghz G4 server, running Mac OSX Panther Server, 2gig DDR ram, 120gigx4 HDD, Pinnacle DC3000 Video Card, and a whole host of software goodies. Also have a 700mhz G3 iBook, used as a terminal.

:searches:
3 port firewier pci card $14.99

I'm also looking to upgrade my video card from my current 64MB ATI Radeon 9000. After researching a little I'm leaning towards an ATI All In Wonder card as well. With 128MB and Capture Card capabilites, I couldn't resist. So, if anyone has tried either 9600 or 9800 AIW just wondering what your opinions on the card are?
