Why can't I upload my video

I filled out all the information for my spiderman music video, spidertrix and when I go to upload video on the left side. It says that I haven't filled out all the information. Whats up with that? Can someone help me. I'm dying for more people to see my video. It was up before, because I had a direct download. But since I don't have a job and I pay for my site using my lunch money, the server died.

I suppose it's the system preventing you from uploading non-anime videos to the Org server.

But dude there are other videos on this site that aren't anime related and they are up for download. or am I wrong, and they changed that.

The policy has *always* been that videos that are non-anime aren't allowed, but Phade has only recently implemented tools to enforce it. If you see videos that use exclusively non-anime, report them to the ModBox so they can be deleted.

Live action vids are sorta looked down upon here, but there are other sites that would look at them.. Some of us like to look at live action stuff, like Undernara. I dunno if it got taken down yet, but it was a good live action vid. Someone also did a LOTR vid to A Perfect Circle's Noose.

The LOTR was either direct or indirect, and I think Undernara was either direct or local, can't remember...

Phade has tools made so that it's now harder to upload a non-AMV to the local storage. I think putting them into the database is also harder now. Same goes for entries with "unknown" or "look and see" as the anime title or song name.

Although what you can do is get your own hosting, put it on there, put a topic in Announcements (this might be looked down upon) and people will look at it. That's how I found the LOTR/Noose video. ANd it's quite good.

Last thing. There are 3 types of downloads. LOCAL, DIRECT and INDIRECT. LOCAL is stored, here at the ORG. DIRECT is a direct link to the vid from the site you own. INDIRECT is a link to the site/page that has your video info and such on it.

I have 2 of them up for download...just not on this site's server. You'd have to find your own hosting or someone kind enough to host it for you if it's Live Action.

It has definitely been taken down (the local copy, I mean, not the catalog entry). I reported it while it was still in the top 10.

Local. If it had been direct, then there wouldn't have been as much of a fuss, I think.

I've never seen Undernara, but I rather liked fyrtenheimer's FF video to the same song.
