The funniest Series I've seen next to Golden Boy.

well a couple of things, first off the reason i think this is such a great anime is becuz its so weird and random, and as stated already if youve missed an episode or two just keep watching it, it will never all really make sense to you.

i was also curious if anyone thinks they will do any more eps to it cuz i think it would be great if they continue. if anything i think they could do a spinoff on it once we see what happens at the end <dont want to spoil it for those who havent seen it all> but i think it would be great for it to go on. but then i guess if they did continue it they would make sense, and with this series we just cant have that now can we?

the other great thing, damn that kid is a babe magnet....LOL

Until you've watched it through a few times, and then it may (esp. if you watch it with the director's commentary).

Because in order to give it enough of a plot to warrant more episodes, they would have to do something like bring Haruko (and perhaps Mamimi as well) back. While this is fine for fanfics, I really don't think it would work for the anime. Haruko already made it clear that her main purpose in life was to track down <s>AtomX</s> Atomsk, and there's no reason to believe that her attachment to Naota was so strong that she'd give up on that goal.

1) it's Medical Mechanica

2) their Earth plant was rendered useless, so even if they did catch him, Haruko wouldn't be coming back to Earth to get him

why don't you stop asking meddling questions being that a sequal won't happen, and IF it did happen, I'd imagin director would go and send it off into another story away from Naota and Haruko. Starting something new and fresh, yet subliminally linking it to the first o.o

2. You don't know that, unless of course there is some interview with the director or producer (whichever is in charge) saying that it won't happen which of course I would like a link to and of course I would like an english translation.

I'd shot them if they turned it from those two...that would just ruin it totally. I think they should just follow them up on how there doing later in life.
