Ever done a "video cover version"

While thinking about my Saber Rider music videos and what video could be sung by Nemesis (a very important person in this series - the leader of the bad ones - who does nothing but running around, sitting on his throne and telling everybode that he is bored) I saw the Depeche Mode Video "Enjoy the silence".

For everybody who does not know the Enjoy the Silence Video (no AMV, the original one by Depeche Mode), Dave Gahan also only does run arount, sit down and sing. This is only interrupted by few sequences showing the band and a flashing rose (the cover-picture of Violencer)

So I began to copy everything from the original video to the AMV with Saber Rider Pictures.

Okay, I've done some videos with allusions to originals before and I think many others did. But did anyone before reproduce an original video with anime pictures? Or are my Enjoy the Silence Video or my B-Team Intro (made with pictures from MASK and the Intro-Music from the A-Team) real innovations?

Elvis VS Anime. It's a remake of the original elvis video using anime charicters.

There's not many of them out there, that I know of, but you can always try serching under parodies.

Crying Angel 2 is the same song, diff artist, sung by a female, so it will be the female version of the video.. *working on it*

All the trailers he does are pure copies of the original ones with anime stuff.

Saber Rider?! That was my favourite childhood show. Ah, sweet memories

. Can't wait to see your vid. *crosses fingers to be good*. So far there's only one video on the org but I didn't like it at all

I sure hope you're using DVD's and btw I hope you make a tribute about Saber sometimes, my fave. character ^_^.
