Thanks to whichever mod fixed my earlier post. :)

Considering Keitaro wasn't even in OMG! to begin with, yeah, that would be pretty impossible. :D

if so, is there an AVI to OVM converter?
OGM's are the little files that contain the subtitle information in the VOBS that I was telling you about.
... what the hell?

OGM's are Ogg Media files; they have nothing to do with VOBs.

OGM is another container like AVI, but it supports Ogg Vorbis audio, multiple audio streams, and subtitle streams. All you have to do to switch subtitle streams when playing back an Ogg file, assuming it has multiple sub streams and you're using VobSub, is to right-click on the icon in the systray and select the stream you want.

But AVI doesn't support subtitle streams. So to put subs in an AVI, the subber has to hard-code them in, meaning they're part of the video stream itself and there's no easy way to get rid of them. (The easiest way there is is cropping, but then you lose part of the picture too.)

Well at least I didn't screw up the not being able to alter the avi subs part....

Sorry about all the incorrect information there. Seriously. How embarrasing. *note to self: think first, then post. *

Ok so of course I meant Keiichi from OMG, not Keitaro.

And I got OGM confuzlled with OCR. But to be completely honest after doing research, OCR's might not even be in there, so just disreguard what I said completely. In my own defense, I've never worked with subtitles and never cared to, And the whole Ogg vorbis thing I just didn't ever bother getting up to speed with.

So anyway, sorry to everyone for the bad info. I'll do my homework next time to keep from making an ass out of myself. ;^_^ Thanks for getting me straight scintilla :D
