I recently saw the first four episodes in the series LAIN. I have watched a lot of anime in my day and while some of it is not easy to grasp as other types, LAIN made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Could someone please explain to me what this series is about. I don't want my poor pathetic friend to by the rest of the dvd's just to realize that he was jipped out of 80$

first off, this is kinda something where you hae to watch the whole thing before you start geting it. also, if ya didnt like the first 4 epps then ya probaly woent like the rest of it. lain os one of thoughs animes that ya iether love or hate, no inbetweens

Hey I liked the first the first four episodes of Lain by themselves. I've only seen the first four episodes, and I understand that it might not be the most action-packed show, but it is still pretty interesting. It has a captivating plot line and I kind of want to see what happens, but I think I will watch some later episodes first. As for Coolman's dislike of the show. that can probably be attributed to his homosexual lifestyle.

I also have a question on Lain, however. I was told that it was very violent or something. I was told there was a chick who could kill people with a touch of her finger. Does this happen? If so when, and is it cool?

You're a dumb bitch aren't you. You can't watch something while you are cutting a kleenex box with a cool knife. You might say it was that boring so you had to occupy yourself, but you only watched like the first episode, and after that you went to box cutting. You didn't even understand half of what was going on- The whole Tag thing and what not. I understood and I liked it.
