- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

I actually thought of doing one... but this video is so much more well-done than anything along those lines I could try at the present time... that it won't happen.azulmagia wrote:Wow, every anime should have an alternate opening with "Tank!" as the theme song!
I really liked the vid.

I can imagine the Tank! Project. Driving everybody absolutely insane with 20 consecutive versions of the same song.bubblehead wrote:I actually thought of doing one... but this video is so much more well-done than anything along those lines I could try at the present time... that it won't happen.azulmagia wrote:Wow, every anime should have an alternate opening with "Tank!" as the theme song!

Actually I meant I had a specific show in mind, to do just one version.

I didn't even know he'd made a video to it...angelx03 wrote:I'm talking about that little ending song you threw in.Scintilla wrote:Huh, no I don't, what? *is confused*angelx03 wrote:Hey, does Fluxy know about this yet (you know what I'm referring to)?
I know ^^Otohiko wrote:You are insane.
My dad actually said the same thing after he made me show him my video and the CB and NGE openers...JCD wrote:This is better than the NGE opening.
Good, that was the pointPwolf wrote:awesome work :O but something is stopping me from saying "OMG!!!!" can't quite place it but i think it's something on the lines of, "The technical aspect is amazing, but the video has already been outlined and it's just a matter of producing the same thing with different footage" know what i mean? That itself is no easy task though. but i have this feeling of i've seen it before but it looks different, so it doesn't strike me as "OMG!" that also is something great. the video feels so much like the CB opening
Lol! I feel kinda guilty that I couldn't be there for it... but I guess my payback for not showing up was having the video crash at the awards.rogueintellectproductions wrote:Seriously, I was sitting through ACen's Award Ceremony, going, "OK, Best Comedy - it's gotta be Alternative Eva Opening! Wait, what?! OK, then maybe Best Technical...huh?! Oh, Best Original Idea, that's it, he's got that locked up! WHAT?!?!?!?!"
Hm... I don't know why people call me out on this (one of the people who left an opinion said the same thing). The CB opener has a white bar with a black "Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe" at that point, so I don't see the problem.Lone Wolf wrote:The only thing that seemed wrong was the white bar with "Directed by Hideaki Anno".
Yes, it's the, um... *looks it up* Super Mario Brothers 2 Super Buck Jazz Overclocked Remix, performed by Estradasphere.Lone Wolf wrote:...and the ending part...is that music from Super Mario Bros. 2?
Unfound wrote:I WAS going to do this with Burn Up Excess (Believe it or not), but you killed any hopes or dreams of that ever happening. Brilliant.
Lone Wolf wrote:I also noticed how you made the credits like and your studio name to look like [Adult Swim]. Good stuff...I was planning on doing something like that. Poo.
Dazzamn, now I feel guilty.bubblehead wrote:I actually thought of doing one... but this video is so much more well-done than anything along those lines I could try at the present time... that it won't happen.azulmagia wrote:Wow, every anime should have an alternate opening with "Tank!" as the theme song!
The sad thing is that that idea had actually popped into my head sometime yesterday (but not as something to be taken seriously, just thinking about how it would look)...SarahtheBoring wrote:I can imagine the Tank! I've replied to all opinions left so far.
To everyone: Merci mille fois!!
(This is the second time in a row I've made a video that's made a bigger splash than I ever expected...)
