Thanks Cloud, age has it's benefits, been there done that. I was into scifi when I was in school, movies and books, others thought I was a little strange. Then later came Star Wars and the whole scifi movie revival and it became main stream. I was just ahead of my time.
You missed it, we watched You're Under Arrest and Tokyo Godfathers, both good. Y. U. A. is two cop girls, quite funny especially when you get to the parts with Strike Man "defender of morality", a great comic character.
Tokyo Godfathers, a very funny anime, with some good moral stories woven into it, where three homeless characters find an abandoned child and decide to find it's mother. A good one to show those who don't like wild action movies. Keep on watching.
